INT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - NIGHT
The dim light flickers, casting eerie shadows on the walls. JOE (30s, rugged and tense) stands in the center, sweat glistening on his forehead. ALBERT (40s, suave yet sinister) emerges from the shadows, a smirk playing on his lips.

ALBERT
(slowly clapping)
Bravo, Joe! Youve made it this far. But tell me, how does it feel to be the mouse in my little game?

JOE
(eyes narrowed)
Cut the theatrics, Albert. What do you want?

ALBERT
(mockingly)
What I want? Oh, just a front-row seat to your downfall.

Albert circles Joe like a predator, savoring the moment.

JOE
Whats your plan? You think you can scare me?

ALBERT
(chuckles)
Scare you? No, my dear Joe. This is about anticipation. Picture ita countdown... ticking away your life.

Joe clenches his fists, struggling to maintain his composure.

JOE
I wont give you the satisfaction.

ALBERT
(leaning closer, whispering)
But you already have. Youre living every second knowing this is your last night.

Joe steps back, trying to regain control of the situation.

JOE
You dont have to do this. We can end this peacefully.

ALBERT
(smiling wide)
And miss the grand finale? Never!

He pulls out a TICKING CLOCK from his pocket and holds it up.

ALBERT
This little beauty counts down to your doom. How poetic, isnt it?

JOE
(voice steady)
Youre insane.

ALBERT
(pretending to ponder)
Perhaps. But insanity has its perks.

Albert hits a button, and the clock starts to beep loudly.

JOE
(realizing)
You wont get away with this!

ALBERT
Oh, but I already am.

Joe lunges at Albert, but Albert sidesteps effortlessly, grinning.

ALBERT
(twirling)
Come now, Joe. You should know by now C its all about the dance.

JOE
(struggling)
Enough games!

Albert raises an eyebrow, impressed.

ALBERT
(enthusiastic)
Finally, some fire! But you see, that only makes it more thrilling for me.

He gestures towards the clock, which now shows only five minutes left.

JOE
(panting)
You...youll regret this.

ALBERT
(smug)
Regret? No, Ill relish it. Watching you squirm as time runs out.

Joe scans the room, desperate for anything he can use.

JOE
Im not going to play your game, Albert.

ALBERT
(leans in, taunting)
But you already are, Joe. Every breath you take is part of my narrativeyour tragic demise.

The clock beeps faster, tension thickening the air. Joe suddenly grabs a metal pipe from the ground.

JOE
(defiant)
I choose how this ends.

ALBERT
(amused)
Do you really believe you have any power here?

JOE
(with conviction)
Ill find a way.

Joe swings the pipe at Albert, who dodges, laughing maniacally.

ALBERT
Ah, the struggle! Its delicious!

As the clock hits one minute, Albert pauses, turning serious for the first time.

ALBERT
Now, lets see how the story unfolds.

Joe, breathing heavily, stands firm, determination on his face.

JOE
(whispering to himself)
I control my fate.

FADE OUT.
